Front Row Motorsports Coca-Cola 600 Race Recap

Travis Kvapil, No. 38 $1 Baja Fish Taco Ford
Starting Position: 41
Finishing Position: 28

Travis Kvapil and the No. 38 $1 Baja Fish Taco Ford team stood tough against the challenging and changing conditions of Sunday's marathon race for another good night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Starting in the 41st position, Kvapil quickly made up several positions in the event's first 63 laps. Unfortunately, the team had to make an extra pit stop to take care of a loose wheel, setting them back and slowing down their progress. But crew chief Steven Lane and the cooling conditions helped to improve the No. 38 Ford as the night wore on, and Kvapil was able to make up some lost ground with a strong car, crossing the finish line in 28th place.

Comments from $1 Baja Fish Taco Team Driver Travis Kvapil after the Coca-Cola 600:

"It wasn't bad. We might have been a little better without the mistake on pit road, but overall the $1 Baja Fish Taco Ford was pretty good. The car was really free early on but Steven Lane and the guys made some pretty good adjustments and the car really settled in.

"This was a really long race, and there are so many things can happen over the course of 600 miles. So, all things considered it was a decent night. Especially looking at the big picture, we beat the guys we were supposed to beat, and I think we've got a pretty good car to take to Pocono, too. The guys did a good job."
